Hi! I'm Márcio! I am Product Manager at TadaWeb in Luxembourg, in the middle of Europe. I'm also Brazilian, UI/UX designer, expat, writer (buy my book on Amazon), full stack developer, early adopter, geek, AI bots dad, gemini, Slytherin, polyglot...
I worked for Yelp as Marketing Designer with teams in 30 different countries. I've joined the Yelp team in 2014 as a Community Ambassador for Brasilia and then transitioned to Operations Specialist for Latin America, where I performed until 2016 creating assets such as social media images, logos and visual campaigns for the team and developed the Yelp Help Me Twitter Bot using Artificial Intelligence.
Previously I was a part of the Brazilian Open University's team as a User Experience and User Interface Designer for Sistema Único de Saúde (Unified Health System) between 2011 and 2014. During this experience, I also had a chance to improve the brand's guidelines as well as creating the visuals for the marketing campaigns.
A TEDx Licensee, enthusiastic on new media, branding, UX, UI, motion design, mobile devices development and the web. Passionate about coding and digital vectorial design. Published the book Alguma Coisa Para Morder on Amazon in 2017.
Now I'm studying and developing tests and prototypes on User Experience, not only for mobile devices but for VR (virtual reality), AR (augmented reality), AI (artificial intelligence), and Wearables as well to improve the End-User Experience. I've also attended a four-year Bachelor Degree in Applied Foreign Languages at the University of Brasilia.
Now you can write with my own handwriting!
You can download the demo version including all latin characters, numbers and some special characters also included. This still an ongoing project and I'm always updating it to have the coolest performance as an real handwriting that isn't perfect and is not the same perfect thing all the time, using ligatures =)

Sometimes, mainly in Brazil, where I've born and raised, people confuse UI (user interface) and UX (user experience) with just webdesign while they are different things. It is important to know that UI/UX are processes to do before building the project.
User experience design is the process of enhancing user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product. It encompasses traditional human–computer interaction (HCI) design, and extends it by addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.
